It’s beginning to look a lot like sweater weather — ugly sweater weather, that is. In fact it’s time to get all done up in your tinseliest, most terrible holiday knitwear and get down to The Smoke Shop in Harvard Square on Monday, December 19th for their annual Ugly Sweater & Whiskey Party.
Scour the racks for the perfect crewneck or cardigan because the competition is going to be fierce at this battle royale. The ugliest winter warmer of them all will win a $50 digital gift card to The Smoke Shop, and the ultimate holiday bragging rights. As you dig into a buffet style feast of some of award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Husbands’ most popular dishes, you’ll be treated to a custom cocktail and a Maker’s Mark whiskey tasting (including The Smoke Shop’s own private barrel bourbon) led by Beam Suntory’s whiskey expert Davey Jones. Plus you’ll also get to try your hand at a wax dipping station, and even bring home your own Maker’s Mark hand-dipped whiskey glass.
Tickets for the party are $50 (grab yours here), which includes all your food, the whiskey tasting and cocktail, and the discussion.
