Trash Fish Fundraiser

Lesser known fish steal the spotlight at the upcoming Chefs Collaborative Trash Fish Dinner on Sunday, March 10th. Mark your calendars and plan a trip to Area Four to try the best seafood you’ve never had – scup, sea robin, dogfish and the like will be transformed from by-catch to mainstay over six collaborative courses from chefs like Michael Leviton (Area Four and Lumière), Evan Mallett (Black Trumpet), Rich Garcia (606 Congress), Derek Wagner (Nick’s On Broadway), Jake Rojas (Tallulah on Thames), Michael Scelfo (Russell House Tavern), Mary Reilly (Enzo Restaurant and Bar) and Larry Leibowitz (Guckenheimer). The dinner, which starts at 6:00pm and costs $125 per person (plus processing fees), will also feature author Barton Seaver, Sustainability Fellow at the New England Aquarium and National Geographic Society Fellow, who’ll be on hand to talk about these under-the-radar fish and sustainability in general. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Chefs Collaborative so reserve a seat online to lend your support and get in on the fishy and delicious evening.
