Farm to table is great, but what about country to cup? On Tuesday, March 27th, Alta Strada in Wellesley is hosting the first in their Tour Through Italy series, bringing the full gastronomic experience of Northern Italy right to your place at the table. From 6:00 to 9:00pm, this extravagant six-course wine dinner will feature flavors, aromas and wines from the north end of everybody’s favorite boot-shaped country, from Alto Adige to Veneto. Courses like crostini with sauerkraut, pear, and speck gets paired with Pinot Grigio while lamb osso bucco is matched with Barolo.
