Tosca Teaches to Benefit Juvenile Diabetes

Chef Kevin Long puts his culinary expertise to work for a good cause on Monday, February 7th when the Tosca chef hosts a gourmet cooking class to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Thirty three lucky class participants will get some hands-on experience preparing a six-course Italian tasting menu in the kitchens at Tosca. After all their hard work, they’ll get a chance to sample each course, as paired with an accompanying Italian wine chosen by chef Long. On the menu for the evening: oysters with lemon, shallot and prosecco; traditional Bolognese with fresh noodles; pork tenderloin filet with rosemary; and Maria’s traditional tiramisu. The class costs $150 per person with proceeds going to the JDRF. To register for the class, call Tosca at 781.740.0080.
