Boston’s culinary scene is a tight-knit community, so you may have heard that Toro’s Executive Sous Chef Darrell Boles is in need of some support from his hospitality comrades after a terrible accident. Make your way to the South End on Thursday, September 6th for an evening that’s part industry night, part fundraiser to help Darrell on his long road to recovery. Word is that chef Jamie Bissonnette is cooking up some Indian dishes (some of Darrell’s favorites), and there’ll be a bunch of other fun (aka surprise!) foods throughout the evening. Naragansett, St. Germain, Oxley Gin and Cava will be flowing behind the bar, and a group of Toro bartenders is crafting a specialty cocktail list just for the night. Can’t make the event?
