Coppersmith, is getting nautical for Sail Boston 2017. The South Boston spot celebrating the incoming Tall Ship Fleet with sea-themed specials during brunch, lunch and dinner starting Friday, June 16th, through Wednesday, June 21st, making it the perfect pre-parade of sails or after the waterfront festivities pitstop. The multi-purpose (not to mention, cavernous) venue boasts two patios if you haven’t soaked up enough sun. Chef Jason Heard is preparing fresh fare from the sea, including the Fisherman’s Plate featuring crab, shrimp, andouille, sausage, mussels, corn and potatoes in a spicy beer broth for $25. Staying true to theme, a series of libations will be offered that are tailor-made for sailors, like the Call Me Captain made with Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, house-made lemonade, raspberry puree and garnished with lime and raspberries, Perfect Storm with Kraken Spiced Rum, Goslings Ginger Beer topped with Allagash White Ale garnished with candied ginger, and Traditional Dark + Stormy made with Goslings Dark Rum, Goslings Ginger Beer and garnished with a lime wedge. Reservations for are highly recommended, so call Coppersmith at 617.658.3452 to book a table.
