Time for Tea at Finale

Warm up with a cuppa at Finale‘s winter tea-inspired tastings, scheduled for Tuesday, February 22nd and Wednesday, February 23rd. Cookbook authors and tea mavens Lisë Stern and Cynthia Gold will be joining pastry chef Nicole Coady at Finale’s Coolidge Corner location on two consecutive nights from 6:30-8:00pm and pairing tea-friendly cocktails with desserts inspired by those featured in Culinary Tea: More Than 150 Recipes Steeped in Tradition from Around the World, which came out in September of 2010. Among the edible offerings: fourless keemun-cherry chocolate torte and jasmine fresh fruit tart. Among the evening’s potable treats: Keemun Cream (vodka infused with Chinese Keemun black tea and spice, blended with Bailey’s Irish cream); and The Southern Earl Grey (a champagne cocktail with Earl Grey infused bourbon, Grand Marnier, orange bitters, and simple syrup made with green tea and ginger).
