Who said you have to drive out to a farm to have a fall festival? Head over to Time Out Market on Saturday, October 16th for a day full of autumn entertainments. From 12:00pm until 10:00pm the Fenway food hall will have craft cider tastings, cocktails that taste like cool crisp nights, seasonal donuts and food specials, live music and a nighttime movie screening.

Cider tastings go from noon until 5:00pm with sips stationed on the 6,000 square foot outdoor patio, spacious front lawn and inside the cavernous indoor dining area so there’ll be plenty of space in which to sip the finest apple-brews from Far From the Tree, Artifact Cider Project, Lookout Farm, Stormalong and High Limb. Pair your ciders with seasonal flavors like butternut squash gnocchi from Michael Schlow’s Italian Kitchen, apple strudel gelato from Gelato & Chill, and Union Square Donuts’ tantalizing seasonal specials (don’t miss out on their apple cider cake donuts, pumpkin maple praline roll, and their vegan apple cider chai donut). If you don’t like too much autumn in your food, don’t worry, you can still sink your teeth into Cusser’s hot lobster roll or classic roast beef on a griddled onion roll or create your own charcuterie selection at Kured to nibble while you drink.

Once the sun goes down the witches come out to play. At 7:00pm the screening of the 1993 Disney classic Hocus Pocus will start right out on the lawn. Make sure to bring your flannel, fuzzy socks and blankets so you can stay cozy but leave your spell-books and black-flamed candles at home (no need to do any accidental resurrections).
