Thistle & Leek: Gastropub Preview

Enjoy a sneak peek of Thistle & Leek’s debut menu on Thursday, February 20th at Formaggio Kitchen‘s classroom annex. The forthcoming spot from Kate and Trevor Smith — previously of Craigie Street Bistrot, Coppa and Toro — is set to open sometime this year as an upscale gastropub with Spanish and Italian influence. Starting at 6:30pm, try a few dishes like salt-baked rutabaga with braised oxtail and crispy leek and smoked mackerel with cauliflower and horseradish to get a sense of what’s to come. Dinner is $75 per person; snag a seat right this way.
