Newton Centre’s Thistle & Leek is turning one! Join in on the birthday festivities on Wednesday, September 1st from 5:00-8:00pm and celebrate with oysters and cocktails on-the-cheap and snacks on-the-house. Chef-owners Kate and Trevor Smith opened this cozy, little gastropub in the middle of the pandemic, and this is their way of thanking the community for helping them grow and flourish during these extra challenging times. Join them on the patio for the night or just swing by to say hi, congrats and/or happy b-day over a drink and a few bivalves…maybe there’ll be cake (there’ll definitely be puds)!
