Thirst Boston’s 2020 cocktail festival is coming back virtually for one day only on Monday, September 14th. The annual event is usually a weekend-long extravaganza celebrating New England cocktail culture, but this year it’s going completely virtual and also completely complimentary! With more than 30 classes, seminars, and tastings Thirst Boston provides education around spirits, cocktails and locally made beverages for all levels from home cocktail enthusiasts to professional bartenders.
This is not like your usual cringey Zoom meetings, for this event all you have to do is tune in from anywhere around the country to watch and listen to interesting seminars and cocktail experts. The events include — Cooking & Cocktails with Tequila Patrón & El Centro, Around the Boot: An Italian Road Trip, Rum Here and Now: Growth, Success, Stress, and an Unknown Future, and Thirst Boston Cocktail Trivia where prizes will be given out to the top three teams.
Even though Thirst Boston is free this year, you have the option to donate $25-$100 to support Thirst Boston staff as well as Off Their Plate, the initiative organized to provide economic support to COVID impacted restaurants and feeds communities in crisis. For more information about specific events, check out Thirst Boston’s website, and keep in the loop by following them on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
