The 2021 Taste of Cambridge & Somerville

If the last year+ of take-out-only, dining restrictions and hibernations has left you with a hankering for some restaurant outings, get your restaurant passport and get ready to eat your way through two food fabulous food cities during The Taste of Cambridge & Somerville, scheduled to run from July 1st to August 15th. The six week long tasting event features more than 30 spots for an exciting event that’s guaranteed to deliver.

To get started, you’ll have to make a $30 donation to local restaurant workers and nonprofits in the area (consider that the price of admission), and with that will receive a ‘passport’ to take you from spot-to-spot, eating to your heart’s content. Anyplace you spend more than $25, you’ll get a stamp from the restaurant in your passport and if you’ve received at least 4 stamps before August 15th, you can upload your passport to receive four $25 dining vouchers to future visits at any of the participating restaurants– this way you can try one you already love and get $25 to spend somewhere new (or vice versa – whatever floats your boat!)

Which delicious offerings will be available for the event? From Bambara Kitchen and Bar‘s burrata and pea hummus to Catalyst’s ricotta cavatelli, there’s truly something for every whim and fancy. Plus, find your favorite BBQ offerings from The Smoke Shop and get a taste of the best this season has to offer from Forage’s spruced-up summer menu.
