The Smoke Shop’s Vegan BBQ & Bourbon Dinner

The Smoke Shop

BBQ is about more than meat. Don’t believe it? Let the team at The Smoke Shop show you the way at their second Vegan BBQ Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, January 27th at their Kendall Square location. Chef-owner and cookbook author Andy Husbands (a self-proclaimed veggie eater) and his crew are smoking up a five-course vegan dinner with a bourbon pairing option — all for $30 per person or $50 with spirits (not including tax of gratuity).

The feast will prove once and for all that veggies can be more than a side dish, highlighting produce from local farms with the classic slow and low cooking techniques cookouts are known for. The menu includes cauliflower “wings” in The Smoke Shop Style, tossed with agave and pit spices, smoked jackfruit and mushroom Nashville hot sliders with two heat levels (spicy or hot as cluck), along with smoked mushroom and dumpling soup with cornbread crumbles and finishing the night off with a dark chocolate mousse served with peanut butter cookies (’cause sad, basic, flavorless plant-based diets are the things of the past).

Peek at the full menu below, and get your tickets online today (and bring a carnivore friend or two) to taste the bold, smoky, spicy and delicious harvest of the future.
