It might be hard to believe that five years have passed since The Merchant opened its doors back in 2014 — time flies! — but alas, there’s been a handful of times around the sun. The Franklin Street team is calling anyone who’s wined, dined and enjoyed their time at The Merchant to celebrate with $1 oysters, $5 glasses of Gonet champagne and $5 draft beer on Saturday, March 1st. The party kicks off at 11:00am and runs through 11:00pm, with plenty of bivalves and brews to be had. They’ll be open for lunch (11:00am – 3:00pm) and dinner (3:00 – 11:00pm) as well, so you can order American-ish eats from chef Ignacio Lopez‘s menu.
