The Great Tapas Challenge at Tremont 647

A little competition in the kitchen never hurt anyone…well, not yet…On Tuesday, October 25th chef Andy Husbands hosts chef challengers Paul O’Connell of Chez Henri and Gabriel Frasca of Spire for the Great Tapas Challenge at Tremont 647. Each chef is tasked with creating three courses using three main ingredients (first course is chicken, second course is shrimp and third course is pork tenderloin). They’ve also been given strict spending limits, just to level the playing field. Each chef will put out one dish per course which will then be judged on taste, appearance, creativity and best overall. The evening gets underway at 6:00pm with passed appetizers and sangria, and costs $45 per person not including tax and gratuity. For information and reservations call 617.266.4600.
