Head down South by way of JP with The Frogmore’s Spring Fling, greeting the warm weather season with a neighborly patio party on Sunday, April 17th. In honor of the occasion, chef Jason Albus will cook a classic, family-style lowcountry boil—that’s shrimp, crab, andouille, corn and potatoes in Old Bay broth—with hush puppies and collard greens as accompaniments. Bar manager Alex Homans will man the outside cash bar with $4 tall boys and $8 Privateer rum concoctions for washing it all down. And no worries, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll simply move the party indoors. Tickets for the event are $15 each, or $20 each at the door, for a 5:30, 6:30 or 7:30pm arrival (to ensure there’s fresh food for you). Pick yours up online here.
