The South End goes southern Germany for a Munich-style Oktoberfest celebration at The Beehive on Thursday, October 6th. Suds will flow, naturally – like Harpoon’s Octoberfest, Munich Dark and IPA – to accompany Bavarian specials from chef Gregory Torrech. Diners can get in the spirit with sausages and sauerkraut, potato salad and pretzels, served a la carte in addition to the regular menu, starting at 5:00pm. Since any good stein needs a traditional German drinking song to match, the Mad Bavarian Brass Band will take the stage from 8:00pm to late with lively polkas and sing-a-long songs.
