Taste of the Back Bay

On Friday, April 11th the talents and flavors of over 40 local restaurants, vintners and microbrewers from the Back Bay and beyond will be featured at the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay’s eighth annual A Taste of the Back Bay. The evening of exquisite food, wine, beer and music at The Wang Center Grand Lobby promises a satisfying sensory experience for the expected crowd of over 600. A Taste of the Back Bay features tasting portions of signature dishes from some of the Back Bay’s best restaurants like Ambrosia on Huntington, Armani Café, Azure, Bomboa, Bonfire, Brasserie Jo, Finale, Mantra, No. 9 Park, 75 Chestnut, Saint and Spire. A sampling of fine wines and fresh micro-brewed beers will accompany the restaurants’ offerings. The event runs from 6:30-9:30 pm. Most of the evening’s proceeds will support NABB’s work in protecting the Back Bay neighborhood for residents, workers and visitors by address issues like crime, traffic congestion, recycling and uncontrolled commercial development. A portion of the proceeds will also support The Wang Center’s Suskind Young At Arts, a community educational outreach program. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 at the door. Advance reservations can be made by calling the NABB office at 617.859.7787.
