Slow Food USA and the Kobrand Corporation team up on Monday, June 21st for the Boston leg of their second annual Taste of Italy, an Italian wine tasting series that’s hitting cities across the country. Swing by for samples of pre-release wines from renowned signatures like Sassicaia, Guidalberto, Lupicaia, Cerequio, Cabreo, Nozzole, Calvano, Nardi, Crognolo, Oreno, Pighin, and Bollini, all poured by the winemakers themselves. The event will be held at the Boston University’s 808 Commonwealth Avenue from 7:00-9:00pm (with a special afternoon session for industry professionals and press from 3:00-5:00pm). Chefs from restaurants like Bambara, Bia Bistro, Bricco, Caffé Umbra, Garden of Eden Cafe, Grill 23 & Bar, Icarus, Ristorante Marino, The Butcher Shop, Trattoria Pulcinella and UpStairs on the Square, will be on hand to provide complementary provisions. Tickets cost $55 for Slow Food members and $65 for non-members.
