Take a mini tour of Israeli cuisine (without leaving the country) and support local restaurants at the same time during the Taste of Israel Restaurant Week. The Jewish Arts Collaborative (JArts) is hosting the third annual event from Tuesday, January 26th through Tuesday, February 2nd, featuring more than 24 restaurants so you can safely explore the diverse and delicious world of Israeli food. Some of the participating restaurants include Town Meeting Bistro at Inn at Hastings Park, JP Licks, Mamaleh’s, Area Four and Craigie on Main, among lots of others. Take a peek at some of the scrumptious special menus that are available for dine-in and take-out here

Besides ordering delectable dishes, the JArts Boston team have compiled a lengthy list of live events, articles, films and recipes for you to learn more about the melting pot of diverse cuisines that come together to create the Israeli culinary landscape. Watch a live chat at Mamaleh’s Delicatessen discussing the creation of Israeli Restaurant Week, and how to bake Israel-level pita. Or bring your pumpkin spice game to the next level with a pumpkin spice hummus recipe thanks to Boston-based cookbook author Catherine Gill (a.k.a. The Dirty Vegan). Keep an eye on the different events on JArts Boston Insta and sink your teeth into the full list of participating restaurants here. Not sure how to get started? Follow the JArts Boston to do list: 1. Eat. 2. Learn. 3. Repeat.
