Taste of the Nation 2012

Share Our Strength, the national non-profit which aims to end childhood hunger in America, is once again bringing the Taste of the Nation to Boston. On Thursday, April 19th, the Hynes Convention Center will be filled with dozens of wines, cocktails and over seventy restaurants like 606 Congress, 80 Thoreau, Aragosta, Blue Inc., Brasserie Jo, Craigie on Main, Davio’s, Finale, Hamersley’s, Harvest, L’Espalier, Masa, Myers + Chang, North 26, Rialto, Sandrine’s, Sel de la Terre, Summer Shack, Taranta, Tavolo, Trade and Tremont 647. Make sure, in between eating and drinking, you keep an eye out for honorary chairs Jody Adams, Joanne Chang, Gordon Hamersley and Andy Husbands. Tickets, which cost $95 in advance ($105 at the door) or $150 for VIP access, can be purchased online. The fun, which also includes a silent auction, goes from 7:00 to 9:30pm (VIP-ers can get in at 6:00pm) – get your tickets asap.
