Trips to Reykjavík are all the rage these days — who hasn’t seen photos on Facebook of their friends’ visits? — but if you aren’t among the lucky ones to fly across the Atlantic, experience Icelandic cuisine and cocktails for yourself through a four-day celebration in Boston.
During Taste of Iceland, try a special prix fixe menu (see below) at Townsman, courtesy of a collaboration between Icelandic chef Georg Arnar Halldórsson and Townsman’s top gun, chef Matt Jennings. Mixologist Teitur Ridderman Schiöth will also be making the trek stateside to partner with bartenders at both Townsman and Beat Brasserie. So whether you find yourself near South Station or Harvard Square between March 8th and 11th, you’ll have options aplenty for eating and imbibing in true Icelandic form.
