Don’t spend as much time Downtown since Filene’s Basement disappeared? Get to know the rejuvenated neighborhood by way of all the deliciousness it has to offer. Head down to Avenue de Lafayette on Sunday, September 24th for a Taste of Downtown Crossing featuring more than 20 of the top spots to eat just off the Boston Common. Look for the likes of Back Deck, Cultivar, Explorateur, Marliave, The Merchant, Pabu, Ruka, Salvatore’s, Serafina, Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen and Yvonne’s among lots of others. The family-friendly event runs from 12:00-3:00pm and includes live music, cooking demonstrations and plenty of activities for the kids. Tickets are $25 in advance (or $30 at the door) and can be purchased here.
