JBF’s Taste America Coming to Woods Hill Pier 4 in January

The James Beard Foundation’s national culinary tour, Taste America, is back in Boston on Tuesday, January 11th for a memorable meal at Woods Hill Pier 4. Chef Charlie Foster and award-winning California-based chef and cookbook author Elizabeth Faulkner are teaming up to create an intimate, multi-course meal packed with bi-coastal flavor.

You might recognize L.A. chef Faulkner from Food Network cooking competition shows like “The Next Iron Chef”, “Chopped All Stars”, as well as Bravo TV’s “Top Chef”. She is also the author of three cookbooks and has been working in the industry for more than 30 years. Foster, a Massachusetts native, worked at In de Wulf in Belgium and Restaurant Frantzen in Sweden, before coming home to head up the kitchens at Woods Hill Table in Concord and its Seaport sister restaurant, Woods Hill Pier 4. Both chefs will bring their signature styles to the table and highlight the uniqueness of their restaurants and local communities.

Tickets are $300 per pair (single tickets aren’t available) for this small gathering, designed to bring together chefs and diners in of local restaurants rebuilding a more sustainable and equitable industry. The dinner is from 6:00-9:00pm and will include a beverage pairing for each course along with a goodie bag to take home.
