Taste America: Boston Gala Dinner

If there’s one event Boston food lovers should be sure not to miss, this is it. On Friday, February 7th, the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America tour returns to Boston for the seventh year, hosting an epic evening of food and drink (not to mention spectacular views) at the State Room, the 33rd floor of 60 State Street.

The fun starts with a tasting reception, thanks to a culinary line-up of JuanMa Calderón and Maria Rondeau of Celeste,Heather Neri from No. 9 ParkAlex Crabb of AstaJohn daSilva of Chickadee, Tiffani Faison of Orfano and Colin Lynch of Bar Mezzana. Then at 7:30pm, you can take a seat for a very special dinner menu designed by Visiting All-Star Elizabeth Falkner from NYC along with Local All-Star and James Beard Award Winner Tony Messina of Uni, and Host Chef David Blessing from the State Room. Save a little room, too, for dessert because four of the city’s top pastry superstars will be serving their best creations — look out for goodies from Michelle Boland of Oak + Rowan, Deanne Steffen Chinn of Tiger Mama, Maura Kilpatrick of Sofra Bakery and Cafe and Tab Volpe of No. 9 Park.

Tickets are $275 each or $350 for VIP and cocktail attire is required, so whip out your fanciest formalwear for the night and snag your spot here before it’s too late.
