The annual Nantucket Christmas Stroll is the stuff of legends, but you don’t need a ferry ride to get in on the good times this year because Cisco Brewers is bringing some big ACK energy to Southie for the first annual Cisco Stroll on Saturday, December 10th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Tons of your favorite Southie watering holes, including Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant, Hunter’s, The Broadway and Roza Lyons, are in on the action and it’s as easy as a walk in the park to take part — simply head to one of the participating locales and drink some tasty Cisco beers. The first 100 people at each bar will get an exclusive scarf giveaway, plus there’ll be costume contest prizes if you have a festive outfit, and lots more fun. You can stroll to and from any of the bars you’d like, but it’s not an official bar crawl — no tickets or purchase is necessary, just be sure to bring an ID (21+ only).
Cisco is donating $1 from every pint sold during the stroll to South Boston Neighborhood House (SBNH), which supports the needs of families experiencing social and economic stress in South Boston, so all that hot stepping will help support a good cause.
