Tailgate Like You Mean it

Ain’t no tailgate like a Lovin’ Spoonfuls Tailgate ‘cause a Lovin’ Spoonfuls tailgate is fancy. So fancy, in fact, that the October 28th bash has been dubbed the Ultimate Tailgate Party, a title that’s well earned if we’re going by the caliber of chefs who’ve signed on to serve up their fancified versions of tailgate fare. Keep an eye out for board members Joanne Chang and Jeremy Sewall plus chefs from hotspots like Sam’s, Clio, Tremont 647, Asta, Menton and No. 9 Park, Storyville, Harvest and Myers + Chang. And because this is the ultimate tailgate party, chefs Jamie Bissonnette and Will Gilson will be roasting an entire pig on the sidelines while Red Sox Executive Chef Nookie Postal preps lobster rolls for the VIP cocktail hour and champagne reception (we told you it was fancy). The event, sponsored by BostonChefs.com, also features cocktails courtesy of Jon Parsons and Josh Childs, beer from Peak Organic, wines from M.S. Walker, a live auction, lawn games along the waterfront, football memorabilia galore and music from DJ TJ Connelly. Tickets to the party, which is slated to take place under a tent outside of Sam’s, are available online for $100 ($250 for VIP tickets). Proceeds support Lovin’ Spoonfuls in their mission to redistribute food that would otherwise be tossed to people who need it. The party starts at 7:00pm – don’t miss a moment of the fun.
