Sycamore’s Chef de Cuisine Lydia Reichert is teaming up with wine guru Jackson Jarmon of MISE, a Massachusetts wine importer and distributor, to bring the Newton Centre spot’s eats to one of Boston’s best kept secrets: Tasting Counter in Somerville. Located in the same building as the Aeronaut Brewery, this very special restaurant typically features nine-course interactive tasting menus that feel more like a theatrical experience than a meal. But every Tuesday, it transforms into a casual wine bar with natural wines and snacks. On Tuesday, July 30th, Reichert will be collaborating with Tasting Counter’s chef Peter Ungár to serve up new takes on Sycamore’s delicious bistro bites (along with some classic favorites as well) while Jarmon pours some of his best wines. Thankfully, no reservations are needed. Just stop by any time after 5:00pm.
