Sycamore’s Harvest Dinner

Sycamore Facebook

It’s fall y’all, which means it’s the heart of harvest season. As part of their 1st Mondays series, Sycamore is making the most of the autumnal produce with a five-course menu celebrating New England’s bounty. On November 5th, chefs David Punch and Lydia Reichert showcase vegetables like sunchokes and red kuri squash in their elaborate spread. When it comes to fall’s top fruits — pears and apples — the culinary duo incorporates the pair into the foie gras mousse starter and the dessert round, where they get paired with cheddar ice cream (yes, the cheese love is real).

Wine Director Olivia Vienneau has picked out special pairings to complement each course, which tacks on an additional $40 to the evening but amplifies the tastes of the meal in ways that can’t be quantified (simply put, it’s worth the upgrade). If you want to stick with just the eats, dinner will cost you $70 per person. Peep the full menu below — there are vegetarian and pescatarian menus available, just call ahead at 617.244.4445 to give them a heads up — and book your table online here. Reservations will be accepted between 5:00 and 10:00pm.
