Award-winning barbecue joint, Sweet Cheeks Q, is throwing a party for you, your four-legged friends and the folks at MSCPA-Angell, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of animals. On Tuesday, July 9th, Tiffani Faison‘s Fenway spot will be opening up their beer garden and patio for an after work Yappy Hour fundraiser from 5:00pm-7:00pm. There’ll be a complimentary biscuit bar with honey butter, strawberry jam, and pimento cheese (in addition to the regular a la carte menu). And don’t worry about your canine companions, there’ll be house-made dog treats courtesy of pastry chef Dee Steffen Chinn. Sweet Cheeks Q is also partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, who’ll be serving up specialty cocktails (attendees who make a donating will get a complimentary drink ticket) and matching donations up to $500. You can bring your pooch if you have one or, if you’re in the market for an adoptable pup, MSCPA-Angell peeps will be bringing some of their most eligible candidates.
