Enjoy a height-of-summer al fresco feast at the first installment of Thistle & Leek‘s Summer Grill Series. On Wednesday, July 21st, chefs and co-owners Kate and Trevor Smith will be welcoming chef Fernanda Tapia for a guest appearance in their Newton kitchen. Tapia, a two-time winner of Food Network’s Chopped, was the chef-owner of Comedor, the beloved Chilean restaurant that occupied the Thistle & Leek space previously so she knows her way around the kitchen (generally and also this kitchen, specifically).
