Why stop at farm-to-table when you can farm-to-glass too? Saltbox Kitchen in Concord will take your locally-sourced dining experience to the next level at their second special dinner of the season, which pairs a fresh spring menu with beers made on-site at their very own microbrewery.

On Friday May 13th, chef-owner Ben Elliot and his crew are cooking up a five-course savory meal plus a dessert, to show off some of the beers, made with homegrown hops at Saltbox Brewery. The dishes are a real step up from basic brewpub fare – smoked duck confit sliders with tart cherry and Bordeaux confiture get paired with TB12, an “imperial” double dry-hopped IPA brewed with Hull Melon, Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade, Magnum, and Nugget hops. And the Stout Float with maple ice cream gets matched with Jeans Highland Chief, an oatmeal stout made with East Kent Goldings hops.

Tickets for this spring-centric beer dinner (7:00pm) are $150 each, which covers all the food and beer plus a staff gratuity. Additional wine and cocktails will be available for purchase. Reserve your spot ASAP by via email or call the restaurant at 978.610.6020.
