An Evening of Artichokes

Sportello is spending the summer in the garden, throwing a bi-monthly soiree dedicated to New England’s seasonal smorgasbord, and on Sunday, June 9th, it’s all about the artichoke. It’s one of chef Barbara Lynch’s favorite ingredients (one that means good weather is here to stay in Italian cuisine), and you can enjoy it in four courses with paired beverages starting at 5:00pm. Start your night with Artichokes al Forno and an artichoke sparkling cocktail from the bar, then move on to Lasagnetti, Lamb loin, and a Chocolate Torta all incorporating artichoke in creative ways.
