Make the most of patio season at Shy Bird South Boston‘s Southie Saturday Block Party coming up on Saturday, August 19th. From 1:00-4:00pm, the team at the Old Colony Ave. outpost will be serving up food and drinks specials alongside beers from their friends from Castle Island Brewing Co., so you can spend the afternoon drinking, eating and listening to live music. There’ll even be two patio pop-ups: Southie Cookie, a locally and woman-owned and operated cookie business, and SPARK by Simone, a permanent jewelry company, so you can leave with full stomachs and new bling. Dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the day.
