Head to the Marina Bay WaterWorks in Quincy on Wednesday, August 6th, 2003, from 6:00-10:00pm for the 9th Annual Food Fest & Auction. The Food Fest features delicacies prepared by chefs from some of the South Shore’s finest including Stars, Tosca, Amelia’s, the Catered Affair and Raffael’s. The auction features items donated by local businesses, sporting memorabilia, entertainment packages, and tickets to sporting events. Tickets are available for $75 per person. Proceeds benefit Father Bill’s Place, a 24-hour, full service program for homeless men and women that offers comprehensive social services in an effort to move the individual beyond the dependency of shelter.
