If you need a quick escape to look forward to, skip the flight to Sonoma and get a little facetime (and steaktime) with James MacPhail of The Calling Wine at Davio’s in Lynnfield on Thursday, May 11th. Chef Jorge Montoya and the team have a fab four-course feast all set to show off MacPhail’s acclaimed wines that consistently score 90+ points from top wine critics, including Wagyu Caramelli with pine nuts, Parmigiano and Au Jus paired with 2019 Pinot Noir, Monterey County; and Center Cut Filet Mignon with Cacio e Pepe Raviolo, Charred Broccolini and Bordelaise paired with 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley.
