Chef Sarah Wade’s next endeavor, Sloane’s, is about ready to open and if you want to be among the first to see what it’s all about book a spot and get down to the Continuum Building in Allston on Monday, May 1st for a Sneak Peek Dinner. Starting at 6:00pm the “Chopped” alum and owner of Stillwater will be welcoming folks to her new digs (which once housed Our Fathers) for cocktails and an hour of mixing and mingling, followed by a sit-down dinner at 7:00pm. The evening’s offerings will feature a smattering of dishes from Slone’s debut menu including comfort food faves like Pot Roast Mac & Cheese, Za’atar Lamb Meatloaf, Heirloom Tomato Cheddar Pub Pie, Shrimp Birria Tacos — and maybe even a brunch dish (since the new locale will be serving brunch all day).

Dinner costs $100 per person which covers cocktails, food and gratuity; you can snag your spot here. Named for Wade’s daughter, Sloane’s aims to show off some of the chef’s Oklahoma roots, so you can expect some fun new flavors mixed with plenty of classic comfort foods, plus amazing sweets from pastry chef Kaitlyn Lloyd.
