We all know how to drink wine and slurp oysters, but did you know that there’s a bit of an art to it all? Naturally the French have honed the finer points of matching vin with huîtres, and you can learn all about it at The Perfect Pairing — an intimate wine tasting class on the patio at Rochambeau on Saturday, August 13th. Head to the lively bistro at the Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street from 12:00 to 1:00pm for a four-course crash course with Rochambeau’s sommelier, which will feature some très chic still and sparkling wines with bites like chilled oyster with Persian cucumber salad, mint, za’atar and Greek yogurt; and baked oyster with garlicky spinach, bread crumbs and lemon.
