The Artisan Taste

Taste of WGBH Food and Wine Festival

Dine well all day with Artisan Taste at the Taste of WGBH Food & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 19th. The grand tasting event takes place in two rounds and the early afternoon session (from 1:00 to 4:00pm), features nearly 30 chefs and more than 100 libations, along with live music from The Women’s International Music Network. Chef Jody Adams of Rialto and Trade will join chefs Gabrielle Hamilton and Edward Lee for the Mind of a Chef panel discussion and chef Bruno DiFabio (World Pizza Champion) will be sharing tips for tasty pies.

In the evening, the gloves come off as the chefs compete for the first-ever WGBH Culinary Stewardship Award, honoring leaders in food education, cooking technique and sustainability. Live cooking demos, live music and a sweet dessert bar will round out the night, which runs 6:00-9:00pm. Pick up tickets for one or both sessions for bites from restaurants like Abigail’s51 Lincoln, The Beehive, Boxk 109, BondirChopps, Juliet, Loyal Nine, Mirbeau Inn & Spa and more, plus sips from global vintners and local beer-makers, like Cambridge Brewing Company and Mystic Brewery. Use code BCFW15 at checkout for 20% off tickets, available for $60 each (or $50 each for WGBH members) online here.
