Sassy Sunday Workouts

The Liberty Hotel

Work up a brunch appetite every weekend this summer in Beacon Hill with the folks at Barre Groove and The Liberty Hotel. Every Sunday morning head to The Yard — the hotel’s private courtyard — from 10:00 to 10:45am for Super Sassy Sundays, a sculpting exercise class that includes moves with resistance bands, standing cardio, and mat based work, all set to blood-pumping music and led by a star BG instructor. All fitness levels are welcome.

After you work up a thirst, head over to Clink. for the legendary Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar stocked with all the fixings like pickles, peppers, celery, hot sauces . . . and even Slim Jims. Book a table and you can enjoy a healthy, organic brunch made by chef Daniel Kenney and the crew. Go for fresh berries and Greek yogurt, or something more substantial like building your own Suffolk County Omelet with VT cheddar, spinach and sweet onions.

Check out Barre Groove’s website for class pricing; a single class is $25, and package deals are available (which can be used for other BG classes). Classes are complimentary for hotel guests. Drinks and brunch at Clink. are a la carte, and you can make a reservation here or call 617.244.4004. Follow the Sassy Sundays event page for updates and themes — the class on June 12 will be “Pom for Pride” and includes weighted pom poms (provided) to celebrate Pride Month, so get ready for some high kicks and hair whips!
