Get your butt to Eventide Oyster Co. in Fenway on Friday, November 4th for a pop-up visit from Sarma’s chef Cassie Piuma, who’s kicking off their new Bun of the Month series. Piuma will be in-house from 5:00 to 9:00pm serving up Armenian cheesesteak bao buns with garlic aioli, LTO, and hot pepper pickles, plus some Sarma-inspired bites like Green Papaya Fattoush with tahini lime vinaigrette, pear and peanuts.
Check out the menu here and below; a limited number of reservations are available here, however most of the seats will be first come, first served for this for this one-night-only appearance. If you can’t make it on Friday, don’t fret — the special bun will also be available throughout the month of November, so you can pop by anytime to dine in, or take one or two to go next time you’re in the neighborhood. For every Sarma bun sold Eventide will also donate $1 to No Kid Hungry, so you can feel good about filling up on bao buns.
