The early bird may get the worm but good things come to those who wait…so don’t worry if you missed the debut weekend of breakfast at Sarma. You’ll get another shot this weekend and this time there will be donuts. On Sunday, October 4th Cassie Piuma and her crew are welcoming Hanna and Mike Lombardi of The Donut Stand, a pop-up shop housed in their family’s Metrowest wine shop, the Vin Bin. The pair will be bringing their seasonal, hand-rolled wares adorned with local and sustainably-sourced fillings, frostings and garnishes to Somerville (so you can skip the drive to Southborough).
You can pre-order your Sarma breakfast online here (starting at 7:30am) though the donuts themselves will be available for walk-up, in-person purchase inside the restaurant from 8:30-11:00am.
