There’s no place like a tiki bar to transport you to a place you’ve never been before—especially a pop-up tiki bar that won’t be around for long. Sandbar, the latest pop-up creation at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, will be open every day from July 19th until August 9th, ready to whisk you away to an island for an hour or two. There will be guest bartenders from around the city shaking, stirring, and swizzling their favorite island libations every Tuesday and Wednesday, and if you’re feeling peckish you can grab a bite from the special menu of Polynesian-inspired bar bites from Bambara‘s chef David Bazirgan. He’s been working on nibbles like pork belly steamed buns, salmon poké, crispy chicken wings, hearts of palm salad and pineapple ice cream. Click this way for more information and to RSVP.
