Sage Gets By with a Little Help from Its Friends

Celebrating a decade of Sage, chef-owner Anthony Susi enlists fellow chefs to make the restaurant’s birthday party especially festive, not to mention tasty. On Wednesday, June 17th, it’s going to be downright crowded in the Washington Street kitchen, where more than twenty chefs will be creating their own, hors d’oeuvre-sized versions of Sage classics. Look for familiar faces from restaurants like Oleana, Tremont 647, Prezza, Erbaluce, Meritage, dante, Straight Wharf, Toro, Bambara, Rialto, Olives, La Morra, Sel de la Terre, Pigalle, Radius, Avila, The Metropolitan Club and Garden at the Cellar, for starters. The birthday bash gets rolling at 6:30pm and costs just $30 per person, which covers a celebratory cocktail. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Union Park Neighborhood Association so you’ll be gorging yourself, getting a good deal, doing a good deed and supporting one of the South End’s standout restaurants all at the same time. Call the restaurant at 617.248.8814 for more information and to purchase tickets.
