Rosebud does the Derby up right with a Kentucky-esque party on Saturday, May 6th. Those looking to get in to the horse racing spirit can sip on Juleps at the outdoor bar and snack on Southern specialties like Kentucky hot browns and deviled ham salad. The Davis Square spot even indulges their diner roots with Derby pie just for the occasion. There’ll be a photo booth, party games, and prizes awarded for best dressed, best hat and best dressed couple. The party goes from 4:00-7:00pm and the (incredibly brief) race will be broadcast both indoors and outdoors so guests can keep track of the competitors. Tickets are $5 each – available online here – and proceeds benefit Lovelane, a therapeutic horseback riding program for children with special needs.
