Art fans and food lovers, the talented Haitian-born, Boston-raised visual artist Rocky Cotard has finished the mural he’s been painting on the outdoor dining area at Urban Hearth. Working late into the night after dinner service, Cotard has brought vitality, hope and inspiration to this cozy corner of Cambridge.
You can book a table on the heated patio to see it in person – they expect to be open through the end of November at least (weather permitting, of course) – or join chef-owner Erin Miller and for a live chat/Q&A session on Monday, October 5th at 6:00pm. They’ll be talking about the piece itself, which honors the life and spirit of Representative John Lewis, but also what it was like to watch art unfold.
