MJ O’Connor’s, the upscale Irish pub-cum-restaurant at the Boston Park Plaza, welcomes chef Robert Fathman (of Azure and Anthem fame) and Harpoon Brewery for Cabin Fever, a five-course beer dinner on Thursday, January 27th. The evening gets underway at 6:00pm with a warm-up reception featuring hors d’oeuvres like potato skins with aged gouda, bacon and frise; mini steak bombs; and chicken drums with buffalo sauce, all paired with Harpoon IPA. But don’t fill up on yummy pre-dinner nibbles, because courses include beer-steamed clams and shell with garlic bread for dipping and sopping up; beef short ribs braised in Hibernian ale with mashed potatoes, cabbage and onion gravy; and orange cake with spiced stout ice cream.
