Rezpiral Mezcal Dinner

The Lexington has dinner and a movie covered on Monday, November 28th with a visit from the makers of the super premium mezcal, Rezpiral.

Chef Will Gilson is putting on a multi-course tasting menu to show off a few expressions of the small-batch spirits, which are made using traditional, artisanal methods from sustainable sources to preserve grower autonomy, local land control and to counter cultural appropriation in the industry. You can check out more about their production philosophies here, but even better you can grab a pre-paid reservation here and get down to Cambridge Crossing at 6:00pm to taste the spirits for yourself while taking in a pair of short films by Dani Eizirik, an artist in residency at Rezpiral from Oaxaca, Mexico. The shorts include “Temporadas de Lluvia,” which is about the people and landscapes of the region where mezcal is produced, the management of the culture and biodiversity of its production, and some perspectives for the future.

Dinner costs $135 per person (minimum 2 people), and Alex White from Rezpiral will be on hand to guide you through the tasting and answer all your mezcal questions. Keep an eye on The Lexington’s socials (IG and FB) for updates on the menu, and give them a call at 617.945.1349 with any Qs.
