Remnant Brewing Debuts Sarma Gose

Sarma/Remnant Brewing

The fermentation wizards at Somerville’s Remnant Brewing have figured out how to get the Mediterranean flavors from the menu at Sarma (chef Cassie Piuma‘s five-star menu) into a glass with their most recent collaboration – Sarma Gose – and this weekend’s your chance to check it out.

On Sunday, October 23rd, get down to Bow Market in Union Square from 12:00 to 4:00pm to try a pour of the salty sour, brewed with Persian limes, spiced with green cardamom and coriander, and fermented with the Remnant house saison yeast. It’ll be perfectly paired with snacks like Sweet Potato Skordalia and chips (it’s like hummus!).

If you can’t make it during the day, head to the restaurant in Winter Hill from 8:30 to 10:00pm where the brewery folks will be hanging out and pouring drafts for anyone who wants to talk brewing (the full Sarma menu will be available). And if you really love beer, you can go to both! Check everyone out on IG (Sarma, Remnant, Bow Market) for pics from the parties, and call Sarma at 617.764.4464 with Qs.
