On Wednesday, June 28th, chef Lisa Whelan welcomes the folks from PRP Wines of Massachusetts to the Golden Clove in Chatham for a fabulous five-course dinner paired with fifteen unique wines that you won’t find in stores. The evening starts off with an assortment of oysters, followed by chilled roasted tomato gazpacho with lime infused crème fraiche; and crisp romaine torn and tossed with house-made Caesar dressing, parmesan and an herb crouton. Entrée options include filet mignon and grilled shrimp salad; roast duck with a sweet potato pancake and summer squash; and native sea scallops with a nest of hand made spinach pasta. Whelan tops it all off with a trio of desserts including lemon cheesecake with fresh berries; Tahitian vanilla bean crème brulée and a molten chocolate cup. The dinner costs $65 per person and is bound to sell out fast. Call 866.552.8200 to save your spot. If you can’t make it on the 28th, Whelan’s summer menu will be available seven nights a week (and for brunch on Sundays) starting June 29th, so call the Golden Clove at 508.945.0028 for reservations.
